This may have been posted.....high miles, but not many out there for sale.

To think 10 years ago I was about to buy one like it for half the price, and i thought it was expensive.  Bought the roadster instead. What a fool.

Even the non-M shoe's are getting pricey these days.

      $9k for a 528e with 171,000 miles? Am I missing something?

What's left of the +/- 100k 528e's have been around $5-6 for a while now and 535i's go for what great M5's were 6 years ago and now low end current M5 prices.yet. This was $10k over imo. People just throw their wallets at these auctions.

That gauge cluster add on with the digital gauges is neat.  I haven't seen one of those before.

yes, but the red one has been resprayed, but not full resprayed. maybe vinyl wrapped? The engine bay, door jambs, etc are still bronze.

That’s a bummer but not a deal breaker considering you could still talk them down.

Super cool. Looks like there was a guy that was going to make them on bimmerfest but never got around too it. A real alpina cluster is $$$.

Yup same fitment as style 5's. I think they look WAY better without centercaps (same with 16" style 5's unless you get those RS style waffles/hex nuts). I got my set for cheap at a junkyard and am planning to use them for track/auto-x wheels eventually

I don’t know how serious you are Chris but I’m thinking of selling my Euro 535 this year as I might be leaving WI for work to a state with an Emissions Gestapo. Price would be much less than that BaT listing, thinking around ~$10k but haven’t really researched the market lately.

I haven't looked at powertrain stuff much specifically, but a guy I went to school with bought a used I8 and has had a ton of issues with the a/c compressor. Apparently they use the a/c loop to cool the batteries, and the compressor is either under-specced for the application or just a bad design/part, and they prematurely grind themselves to bits and throw metal into the whole a/c loop. He had his replaced once, and within a few hundred miles the new one was already making a ton of noise again too (mind you, this car is like 3-4 years old with 16,000ish miles I want to say). Seems like an expensive nightmare for the used buyer, since to fix it properly you probably have to flush the whole a/c system including the battery loop.
