Sadly I tried to give him and extra set of seats (FOR FREE) that I acquired. They were Pearl Beige but could have been dyed. He never came and got them.

Its crazy how much these cars depreciated considering they sold for over $100K. Almost 95% of its value gone and you can still barely give them away.

I agree, the price difference is insane. But all land yachts end up cheap as hell. That one is insanley clean considering how beat most of them are now. I wonder what shop its at...

I don't agree with you on the ugliness though..

I assume that M5 is VERY REAL, and that guy just wants to make a quick sale.

Yeah I would love too. I think that's the same one that was $12k a few months ago. Thats too much for a 316 as it will need a JZ installed

i wouldnt mind a jeep in the driveway, but the used pricees are insane! you pay alot for the 'brand'.

what jeep owners say: thats why you buy one, itll hold value!

what that really means: you pay more for one to start with, so the resale value being higher is a moot point. the car costs you the same, the initial investment is just higher.

My Dad bought his as a callback to his time in the service like 15 years ago before the "Jeep tax" really took over.

It was Jade green, which is a kind of like it or hate it color:

(not mine, but looked pretty similar minus the lift)

My brother drove it with the oil light on after I had passed it down to him and the motor seized.

My fiancees old XJ cherokee was Jade green too! Don't see many of either in that color around

It was weird. There were 3 of them in Appleton for a period of time. One guy was right down the road from us, too.
