"Perfect condition...runs and drive flawlessly"
And the reason for keeping/selling the car on the holed out tire is...??? To take your mind off that ugly decal and what's underneath? It also appears the strut tower brace has broken and been duct taped back together.

So many things about that ad that bother me
"M3 convertible performance" That doesn't exist
"In perfect condition" Clearly it isn't
""No problems or issues whatsoever" Also not true
"Got messed up" There we go!
"Front bumper damaged" I see that, but I thought it was perfect?
"Hole in tire" Jesus, just replace the tire...
"Wide body kit" (where?) the rear has some measly overs that don't appear wider
"Race suspension" what does that even mean? Looks like stock E36 ride height to meFriday rant complete!

Well, the end of an Era has finally come.

This is almost the perfect e34 and reinforces my need for one of these some day!
I guess it wasn't that perfect or the buyer flaked. It's for sale again.

Nice. I wonder if he paid the extra $5 to make that listing?
No, I think he snuck in under wire, posted 4/14 ,unless they got him for an update. unlikely.

That seems to be happening a lot lately on BAT. It's a shame they didn't repost for him.

Im surprised it doesn't happen on every listing. it seems like everything on there sells for $3k more than what it should be.

Not a BMW but another BaT car that had the high bidder bail. It's interesting to read his comments about the lack of support from Bat.

I'd think a simple deposit system would help a ton for flakey buyers. Especially if it's non refundable if the car is as described.

Wish I could say I was surprised, but I have heard a lot of bad things about BAT and the buyers that flake out. Im willing to bet 80% of the cars listed dont sell.
Anyways, that guy started a site called "Backlash" using the BaT logo and seems a little dissappointed about the ordeal.

Why would you say 80% of cars don't sell? A high bidders credit card is charged for the buyers premium at the close of auction and is non refundable so it costs quite a bit of money to flake out. In the case of a high bidder going to look at a car and then bailing out the only reason I can see that would happen is if the car has problems and is not as described and it would be cheaper to lose the buyers premium and walk away.
I will say that I was disappointed that they trimmed my description down and turned it into "BAT style" which caused a lot of information to be only in the comments and people may or may not scroll through all of the comments so there are tons of repeated questions about stuff that should have been in the description. My buyer showed up with cash, was pleased and drove away so I was happy.
