Don't really like the car but would be a good investment if you didn't drive it and had climate controlled storage.

agreed it's definitely not my style either, but it sure seems rare. I'm not a huge alpina fan in general, though.

$1500 without the aftermarket parts?? The best thing you could do with it is drive it to the scrapyard at that point IMO 🤢

                Also, this

                https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/cto/d/98-bmw-m3-set-up-for-drift/6613904538.html

Poor M3, "minor surface rust" The quarter panel looks pretty rusted out to me...

The stickers make me laugh, like I'm pretty sure not one part on that car is Recaro, Brembo or HKS 🧐

What a pile!  "It's  a real M3 not a swap or anything like that though."

                  Price though!  I actually "lol'ed"

This is not a car for sale CL post but a auto repair shop for lease ad :https://milwaukee.craigslist.org/off/d/auto-repair-shop-attached-to/6599267752.html

Great line in the ad: "High traffic auto repair shop available for rent. Has a lift already in it , it's own entrance in the front and garage in the back. Attached to a used car dealership that sells 25-40 cars a month. Customers are always coming back for repairs."

                            Yeah, there's a ringing endorsement...

I've been in Milwaukee a long time. There are a lot of good folks living in that part of the city trying to get by. What makes it worse is when businesses pile on in the predation. This one looks to be "Vegas Sales and Rent" and the Google reviews mention rebuilt titles and cars in poor shape. Or maybe it's Global Circle Automotive with the same address and the glowing brief reviews without detail. Either way the wording in the CL ad about being next door to a shop selling used cars needing a lot of repairs, passing this off as a plus for a potential renter, and the pics of the condition of the shop doesn't serve the area well.

I  grew up and lived in Milwaukee most of my life. I love Milwaukee and I have only lived in Madison for 7ish years and I can agree that not all of Milwaukee is bad. But everything from the ad, pictures, and location in that AD scream run away.
