i hope for your wallet's sake the engine, trans and edc suspension are in working order.

really, the s38 is a cool factor, but the e34 m5 is really not a better car than a 540 with a couple tweaks.

don't get me wrong, I love the m5, but i wouldnt touch one with a 10ft pole if it needed any work.

I sadly agree. The DINAN stroked E34 M5 a buddy and I built for a client was sadly slow compared to more modern cars.  Im only interested in touching this with my pole because I know I can make some money on it. If it requires more than $1500 in parts, I will sadly strip the car and part it out. It seems to have rust and dents so paint is totally over the $1500 mark.

Damn, those style 5’s are a good deal. I kinda want to buy a set to refinish, even though I don’t have a car they’d fit on haha.

That's a great price considering I just sold my m44 DASC for $2400 and it was missing a good bit of parts.

Found IRL, I actually forgot about this car, but now that I'm looking for a new project I'm attempting to contact the owner of it. It has been sitting outside of what looks like a vacant warehouse for 3 years. It's either this or another e36 M 😬

It was either owned by an enthusiast or murder judging by the stains in the back. I'd assume it has a decent amount of new components. Subframe bushings are probably due. If you could get it to 500,000 miles bmw might give you one of their silly awards.

                                      Lmao. "Some rust", 400k miles.

The e36 M3 market is getting out of hand. Finding a deal on a decent rust free 5-speed is going to be a journey.

I wonder if it's still the original engine?  Totally need those bigger injectors with that beast of a Spectre filter right on the MAF.
