Hmm, re the 318is the car's title from NY was "lost". Wonder did seller lose it or never had it?
The likely scenario is that he bought the car as a project, didnt transfer title because it wasnt going to be on the road while it was being "restored". He did whatever he had to do, and when he went to transfer the title is wasnt where he left it.
To buy a car without a title, and then put that kind of money into it (with the exception of a track car) would be a pretty big lapse in judgement. That being said, I've seen people do dumber things.

The e30 parts seller is someone who bought a half semi-load of parts plus a number of cars from an estate sale a year ago, two years ago? I emailed back a forth with him a bit but never went down to actually look at what he's got. Anyone looked at the stash?
Interesting, I always wondered what the deal was with that ad. I might shoot him a message about a diff.

i also have the dream of owning an e32 someday. long wheel base is pointless, but yeah they are great looking cars.
-
Super confusing ad. Only has 4 shots of the car from the same angle in different environments with no interior or engine bay shots AND the title is missing? He should know that you can apply for a bonded title and have a new title in 6 months if its done correctly. Sounds very Chicago fishy......

Jeez, the wheels and kit on the e36 make it almost worth it in their own. Pretty good deal for someone.

Pretty sure it was always auto, and he "has" a manual trans to go with it. I unfortunately saw this car in person after the divebomb rally this year. On our way home we stopped for gas and he must have saw us in Bryans M3. Dude turned around and raced into the gas station reving the thing. As I chuckled under my breather while he "talked BMWs" I could see that it was a very nice 30 footer and this guys wet dream. It may not be for everyone, but he thought it was the cats ass. I dont think he will ever get more than $2500 for it.
I also dont mind the Dakar, and its probably the nicest thing about the car. The rest is just meh.

I think its the lack of moldings on the car. I think its ruins the car when people shave em. To each their own.
Here is a sweet e30 crossfire

Totally missing something for sure.
That is a total mindfuck. It looks like the last picture is a Chrysler Sebring, but it totally took me a few times to figure out what I was looking at.

is that a RENOWN steering wheel too? oh wait, it must not be, I didnt see it in any of his 1,000,000 instagram posts.

They didn't sell a 1995 328i. So the person may not know what they have. If there isn't rust it's a car, how I put it, that I shouldn't buy but will buy.
This car has been marked as a buy @Daggerty

I would be lying if I said I wouldn't ever paint a car Dakar=P
I've got nothing against Dakar but is that what this guy's "yellow" actually is? Maybe it's because every Dakar car I've seen has been faded.
-
The two 1995 M3s in Cicero have the same seller. Wonder what's up.
