You could try getting a bonded title for it if there are no liens. Can't go wrong for $300 though.

Not a bad car, not running but it looks fairly clean and rust free.

Even so, it would make a good beater....the set of DS1s is worth over half what he is asking for the car.

It looks like a pretty clean chassis for the price. I found it the other day and was tempted to message them to fix the ad but I figured they would get it sorted by now

Either it gets terrible mileage or the gas tank is actually empty lol.  Doesn't seem like a terrible price, only 607 miles on it.

The car is a piece of crap, but I've never seen a red interior and it looks like it's in ok shape. Could be worth the price to grab the interior and scrap it??

I mean, if you want ugly red interior....then I guess so. Its not factory, and I wouldnt even really say its in "ok" shape.

I believe it's factory and likely rare, you can see it here http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=40776. I think it'd look great in a silver, white, or black car.

Door panels look a little rough but definitely savable, seats don't look like they have any huge rips and a steam clean could go a long ways. It's not mint but certainly not ruined

Those are infact OEM seats. The interior was nice when new. The seats look to have dried out to the point that they're cracking and almost flaking. Definitely not worth much of anything at this point=( That poor car has gone through some shit

If it was a slicktop, I'd consider buying it to make a FuturisticDesigns Art BMW with a V8. It certainly has the required... um... patina.

I'd put a Northstar V8 from a FWD Cadillac under the rear hatch...

Just kidding, that sounds like a lot of work....

e36 M3 slicktop sedan does seem like a rare bird.... but an e36 M3 shell is no different than any other e36 shell, so I don't see why anyone would pay a premium to get one vs the other...

Anyways, it's at least 1 too many doors for my lifestyle...

The brakes and rear subframe would be the big items other than the bumpers and trim. The interior wouldn't be much different as it is just a lux m3.
