Yeah.... idk about that one. The wheel choice has me even more skeptical vs. it just being stock.

They sure as hell are not going to get out for 6k.

I sold a 2002 in muuuuuuuuuch better condition than that and I struggled to get a couple grand.

At least the shock towers look decent 😐

They look like they were painted (at least I thought the trunks were normally body colored) so who knows...

Price isn't too crazy. Being craigslist I assume he will get the " I will give you $5K" in which case doesn't seem too far off.

                    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1974-bmw-2002tii-17/

Floors pans are fairly easy to replace and can be fixed for under $500. http://www.restoration-design.com/store/product/BMW418R

On the other hand, seeing the gas tank in the trunk most likely means the factory one is toast as well as the other 80% of the chassis.

That's not minor rust at the back lol. Once that starts to show, the whole panel is shot since it rusts from the inside out

You could try getting a bonded title for it if there are no liens. Can't go wrong for $300 though.

Not a bad car, not running but it looks fairly clean and rust free.

                                        Weird looking TI

Even so, it would make a good beater....the set of DS1s is worth over half what he is asking for the car.

It looks like a pretty clean chassis for the price. I found it the other day and was tempted to message them to fix the ad but I figured they would get it sorted by now
