Nice inexpensive set of wheels for an e30 if anyone's looking.

    https://chicago.craigslist.org/nch/wto/d/borbet-15-7x15-4x100-wheels/6310315449.html

These look like Borbet Type H, strong wheel but heavy. Maybe 21 lbs in a 15x7?? Good for snow tires / winter hooning / potential curb smacking, etc

If the seller is correct on the offset of +35 then you'll probably need spacers to fit on a regular e30 to get it closer to +25 for a 15x7 fitment. Should work on an ix though without spacers.

I love that they left the exterior pretty much stock looking, awesome sleeper

      Sleepers are awesome!

They have done well with that car

I know the guy that put that car together. He used to be active on the RWD Volvo forum and I met him when I went out to Portland a couple years back. Super down to earth, really talented and has built a number of very nice trucks and RWD volvos in his garage.

Tom - I have a few BMWs, an overworked Volvo 242, and now a YouTube channel called Drive, Revive, Tinker

probably bad. blown head gasket from being boosted = motor could be wrecked

                    I know [emoji58]

Not the ideal scenario, but the compression test was all 190's, I got to hear it run, it was $500 and I repaired it properly.

I would have raged hard if one of the $2000+ S52s I was shopping had given me this sort of grief

He has wept with a number of us who have wrecked our boosted engines.

There is also a stage 3 clutch listed in the ad too which is possible evidence. But mostly its just his spidey-sense tingling.

he posted it on facebook as well. he has more info there: "It was boosted for ~9k miles on a very mild tune making 340whp ish. It was very healthy and ran great up until the head gasket went between cylinders 4 & 5."

Though about those myself until I rembered how much it sucked to refinish a set of style 5's...good score either way!

Considering what they are selling for in good condition (check out ebay)... I couldnt pass it up.

I work in the swimming pool industry. I've got nothing but time in the winter to work on this type of stuff...it helps me keep my sanity
