Oh that is awesome. I really want that!

Very cool car! Pick this up and join the vintage race circuit. Midwest Council even has a Vintage run group for the Long Race this weekend at Blackhawk Farms.

You are correct, but that is my tenants garage space unfortunately 😐

I would in a heartbeat, but I have to look at the big picture. It has been a race car from the factory (aka no title) which means I would need to buy a trailer and a truck to haul the trailer whenever I would want to take it to the track. Otherwise it will just sit in storage forever and never be used. Reality sucks!

You can pick up car trailers pretty cheap, especially since this car is a feather weight.  I'm sure your bass boat tow rig could haul it with no issues.

Borrow Snap's van, remove the rear van seats, get some 4' 2x8s for ramps, push the car into the van = done, plus you've more than 1/2 way towards a chump car team. [emoji41]

6cyl ti must be awesome on track. The liveliness of an e30 rear susp. with the great engine placement of the e36 front end

John Morgan's s52 swapped ti would be, and probably is, a track beast....I seriously considered that one for a bit after taking it for a drive at the e30 picnic. Managed to resist the temptation. Sorry John!

This guy's m50 swap is a junior version. Would possibly get you into less trouble on the street, though. That said, in addition to the one track video in the FS listing (where he's running Gingerman in what looks the reverse direction...must have been a fascinating track day), there's a video floating around I found of the seller hooning about in an industrial parking lot.

who the hell is swapping e36 motors into other e36s when e30s exist?

Or just pick up a Z3 or Z3M. Same shit, different pile as a ti. Just doesn't look as dumb (IMO). I may be biased owning a Z3M, but it is a blast!

I've been tempted by this one too, especially because it's white and appears to be a slicktop. Still, a $1500-2000 car with a $500 motor in it ain't really worth 4 grand...

Because compacts handle so well compared to e30's and normal e36's due to being a mash-up of the suspensions. You need to drive one and see haha
