Well I'm starting this thred for my 330xi. I found some interesting things while working on it today so I shall post pictures and some info tomarrow.

yes a hole in the filter

hungry grab a muffin found it lodged under the intake between a vanos line and pvc hose

i think i found the leak

tried for 2 mins wonder why the new oil filter would not fit the 2 plastic ring from the old one where stuck in the oil filter housing

the mud that came out smelled so bad

all back together
