Anyone else here into photography? I've been diving into it over the past year and would love to start a thread for all photographers to post their latest pictures. Feel free to share or just give some comments, criticism, etc.
Here's a tease from my trip down to Chicago this weekend. All shot with a Canon T2i and a variety of lenses/flashes.

I'm good at subject and angle, just not camera setup, or lighting.Ā Too lazy at this point.Ā Bought my wife a Canon 7D for xmas.Ā I really need to learn to use it.
Same here, never really learned how to operate a camera. I'm hoping to get a 60D over the summer and learn a couple things with it.

Jake, for the first photo, you should have done a double shot, the waves made the ice chunks all blurry, should have done a short exposure time of the same photo, so the ice chunks weren't blurry, and then a long exposure time of the city it's self to get the color in the city/sky to pop, then merge the too!
Other then that, shots look good. Get that model's phone #?

Jake, for the first photo, you should have done a double shot, the waves made the ice chunks all blurry, should have done a short exposure time of the same photo, so the ice chunks weren't blurry, and then a long exposure time of the city it's self to get the color in the city/sky to pop, then merge the too!
Other then that, shots look good. Get that model's phone #?
I could have done that, but at the same time, I like the result a lot. Gives it a real life touch because the ice chunks were moving pretty good with the waves from the wind. Maybe next time I'll try something like that, it'd be fun.
Anyways, I'll be the first to say, LEARN HOW TO SHOOT MANUAL! I told myself to never use auto when I bought this camera, and so far it's worked out great. I haven't shot one picture in auto, all have been manual or on aperture priority. Practice makes perfect... if there is such a thing.

Because I had too much of a boner and didn't get any good pics of most cars

Just a tip with your sig, don't be pasting that dead center of the photo. Throw that thing dead center in the bottom, or in a corner. Otherwise it looks trashy.. Just in my opinoin.
