I knew of the 525iX (stumbled across one on youtube looking at 325iX's like a year or two ago, blew my mind), but what I didn't know was that they made a 525iX wagon! That would really be the ultimate daily...

e34 ix? wouldn't touch one with a 20ft pole. have you seen the prices/availability of e30 ix specific parts? now make them 20x more rare.

a couple have been brought over from Canada that have come up for sale on r3v over the years. by a couple I mean i have only ever seen 2.

Transfer case rebuild on an e30 ix seems to be the of the "not if, but when" sort of thing

A guy on r3v has an M54 swapped 325ix using E34 drivetrain bits

The 2002's and 911/914's did a much better job of staying shiny-side-up than the others.

It must have been so messy there with all the non-laminated glass windows and glass headlight lenses shattering.

yeah, wierd that the cars with skinny little tires are the ones rolling over. you wouldn't even think they would have enough traction... super soft suspension ftl.

a time when seat belts were an option as opposed to standard epuiment, if you could get them at all... scary.

did you see the vw bug convertible with 4 people in it? insane people!

i once was giving a ride in a 60s corvette convertible. i was like, awesome, one of coolest cars of all time.  no, not awesome,  f*in terrifying because there were no seatbelts, no roof, etc and that old wobbly suspension.

Only experience with that was peering into a porsche 912 and being baffled that it didnt have seatbelts. I ended up dying

Acts like e21 5-speed manual is hard (it just bolts in as far as I know...) but the speedometer still doesn't work, which it should, because they're both mechanical drive...

Not a great example of what to do on public roads, but wild nonetheless.
