I need some type of ear protection that has music. I have ear muffs, but I need sound. 3M makes Bluetooth ear muffs but the sound is apparently subpar. So maybe a set of over the ear headphones would work okay but they’re not designed for sound reduction. I have read that noise canceling headphones aren’t really designed to cancel everyday sounds but more if a constant low frequency like you would find on a plane.

Any suggestions? With what would be better? Right now I’m leaning towards a pair of over the heat headphones from Amazon.

A friend of mine runs larger machinery and Mills would wear muffs with airpods inside of them.

This is what I was trying last night - ear muffs with earbuds in. But when I put on the ear muffs, they "distorted" my ears and then the earbuds didn't sit in my ears flush and the sound was pretty awful. They were the larger earbuds with the the padding on them, so maybe a slimmer design would work better. 3M makes an earmuff with bluetooth connection. I wonder what would provide a better sound protection - earmuffs with bluetooth and not as great speakers or an over-the-ear headphones with better speakers.

I would assume that actual air pods or similar quality pods would be better than muffs with built in speakers. Maybe try larger muffs that don't distort your ears? You always have the option to Van Gogh yourself too..

I got tired of getting stuck in my Land Cruiser with open differentials so I ordered a Spartan auto locker for the rear axle.  I probably should have gotten one a long time ago, it was only about 270$  I couldn't justify spending 800+ for an ARB or other selectable locker.  I'm pretty excited to see how much it helps.  Open differentials are worse with stiff/lift springs like I have because if it doesn't flex well then there are 2 tires with less grip and they will just spin.  With a locker and my Treadwright M/T tires it should dig pretty good through the woods and snow.

Nah this ain't no #driftbois machine.  Also I do like to turn in a reasonable radius.  Also Toyota 9.5" third members are not very common.  Only on the Cruisers and lots of mini truck and 4Runner guys wan't them too.

Spartan locker installed in the LC rear axle.  I should have done that years ago.  Incredibly more grip, I have Treadwright Mud tires with "Kedge Grip" the walnut shells and glass in the rubber which help immensely on packed snow and ice.  It should be pretty unstoppable in the woods now.  My mother-in-law has a '17 4Runner TRD, I keep telling my father-in-law he needs to get rid of the highway tires and put some real tires on it.  The new tech in the 4Runner is pretty cool, dynamic sway bars, etc.  But it's also so nice that driving it through the woods would be psychologically painful, whereas I can't discern new scratches and dents from what was there before on my LC.

Someday I'll be in that club again. For now I'll just wait for 3/0 day

No worries. Basically with BMW March is good: I figure I can celebrate 3/25 and 3/18 for the e30s, and 3/30 for the e46.

Did anyone pull their car out of storage this weekend?

I intended to, but the bitch clip had other plans

I wanted to, but the roads still looked a bit salty and I didn't want to be the cause of a late march snow storm...

Did anyone remove snow tires is the more important question.....
