I know this is a BMW Page, but pretty excited.  Wife wanted a new Jeep, so we picked her up a Jeep Trackhawk.  Holy fast jeep.  It's pretty fun.

Didn't you have a SRT8 Jeep previously? That's a sweet new ride though

I don’t know if any of our MSOE alums were part of the formula hybrid program while they were in school, but we did our very first test of a brand new chassis this morning. Super exciting, and it went off better than I think most of us expected. We were able to lock three of four tires in the brake test, and we expect with a little adjustment of brake bias we should be able to get all four to lock easily. We had issues with steering design, but in testing we found it to be more than acceptable, at least for these lower speeds (it’s limited by gearing to ~63mph). We didn’t even bottom out on the terrible pavement!

Not sure if the videos are gonna work, but I put them here anyway. Keep in mind that we weren’t anywhere near full throttle today and the hybrid system isn’t hooked up, so as it sits we’re at around half power. All said and done, it’ll have just under 100hp and weigh in the region of 800lbs.

We had a 2010 SRT8, then a 2014 Summit, now the Trackhawk.  Wife likes her Jeeps.

Nope, it’s the MSOE (Milwaukee School of Engineering) SAE formula hybrid car. Different class of car, but similar intent.

@P_Roloff  please make sure the body work on that formula car doesn't look like a driving penis this year. It seems the last few cars that MSOE made, look like the ambiguously gay duo car.

Haha i'll see what i can do, the nose on this car is significantly shorter and the nose cone wider than in years past. I think it looks a lot better, but it's still the same general shape.

Maybe, I remembered DC had this a few years ago, but Congress refused to fund it.
