I am going to Tennessee on Friday. We rented a cabin in the Smokies near Gatlinburg. It should be fun but I wish that I would've done more research because the place seems sort of like the Dells.

I'm heading to Nashville next Friday as a belated wedding anniversary trip.  We have some friends that live down there and we rented a house near music row.

                  That's awesome.

Sam is headed down there for a Lamers bus tour the first week of October. September 30th-Octover 2nd we are headed up to Door County like we do yearly, but this time we will be staying at a B&B on Washington Island and spending the weekend just on the island itself.

Yeah, it really is. But if you are planning on going into the park, its nice to be that close. All those the beautiful mountain roads! Planning any whitewater rafting or tubing?

Basically were planning to hike one or two days and were going to check out Tail of the Dragon too one morning. Were only there from Friday to Tuesday but it will be nice to get out of Milwaukee for a few days.

That will be fun!  Bryson City is over by the Tail, and is more of the quaint, small town Wisconsin type of place, if that's your thing.

Stanceworks has come a long way since their early days and puts together some beautiful pictures with a few selective words added to enhance or add background.

Their photos of racing events (especially at night) blow me away usually.
They usually don't have high res versions posted unfortunately, because I would print a whole lot of them!

My barn/shop building has started going up this week. It will take some time, just one Amish guy doing most of it, but I'm getting excited.

They are actually aerocatch hood latches since the trunk came with the holes already cut for them. But that's an awesome idea. I could gut the latch, but still allow the latches to open and close. :)
