I visited Hunter Engineering today and got to see some awesome new equipment as well as a few million dollars worth of the chairmans car collection.  This consisted of 3 300sl's including a gullwing, jaguar e type convertible, an Isetta, Bentley speed 6 prepped for racing with a few mille miglias under it's belt, pre 1940's Rolls, lincolns, Cadillacs, Dusenbergs and Fords.  My head was on a swivel the whole time and the best part is these are all driven frequently!

Alignment racks, tire changers, balancers as well as other technology like a pad that measure tread depth when you drive in, racks that measure weight transfer when you stop on them, etc.

So, the Ducati is gone... Now I'm picking up my brother's old Jeep Cherokee to be my winter car/DD, and I'm trading the Escape (hopefully) for an R6 track bike or a clean 99 R1. #winning

Well, a track bike would have to go stay at my mom's place, which is conveniently only 20 minutes north of Road America. Logistically it would make sense to use that as my Race Weekend Base of Operations

If you're looking for speedy delivery of parts, don't bother buying anything for an air cooled 911...every time I need something it's at least a week and a half. Annoying.

That's true, but the $1k belt/valve job every 3rd track day would have gotten annoying....
