Wasn't for sale. It was sitting in a driveway in Waukesha covered for quite some time. Decided to go knock on the door to see if he'd sell it. Apparently he bought it this way 9 years ago and had all the parts to fix it but never got around to it.

My bad, should have been more specific, I plasti-dipped them like a poor person.

I thought my description was how one plasti-dipped......thus the term 'dipped'

Very cool.  Those can be worth some decent dollars!

Too bad the Z3 wasn't a coupe, I'd almost guarantee is sold.

Nice, did he give you a decent price or did he try to give you the air cooled tax that seems to be rising with every passing day?

I looked up the definition of Dip, Dipped and Dipping.  You tell me.

Tis a spray can, it's called Plasti-Dip so the cool kids often refer to it as "dipping" parts, even though it's a spray can.

He was pretty easy to deal with and I am told by someone who knows these very well that I got a pretty good deal. I think it will be a great investment.

                  So....anyone looking for a real nice z3 m roadster?

$20 and a half drank Root Beer for the steering rack?

Congrates on the Porch-a purchase... I'd love to own one but would look comically huge in one (providing I could shoe-horn my ass into one at all).

Is it a light blue one? The guy I bought my e21 from was selling the e21 to raise some cash to buy his childhood dream car: a Z3 M coupe. A few months later I saw that he decided to sell it...
