IWhats special about the z3m rad?
Bigger than m42, and thicker than the e30 6 cylinder radiator.
Where does the chase bay overflow plug in to? Never really thought about that.
-
It plugs into the nipple of a filler neck.

When the system needs to relieve pressure, the spring compressed in the cap ,the seal goes up/becomes unseated, and allows the pressure to go to the nipple. This allows the pressure to vent into the overflow=) You probably already knew that though

This thread need to get back to motorcycles.
Because it's spring and they are way more fun
-
I didn't know that actually, not too familiar with that.
So, where does the other line on the overflow go to? Back into the system I assume?

One of my current projects. Full restoration of a 1960's Honda S90. Have everything for it, just taking my time to do it right.

What do y'all think of my retro inspired black spoiler?
I like it!
those Fuchs TJ has would work really well with that look too.
-
That must have been a ton of masking to just dip the wheels and spoiler. Did you use the factory tow hook in the front to do it?
Masking wasn't bad really, I didn't mask anything in wheels other than the calipers, I just peeled it off the tires. Tow hook? For what?
Solid "Meh" on the black from me.I don't like black wheels ever tho - so I'm biased.
The wheels are temporary, I'll be getting 18" mesh wheels in the future, but they're also black so you won't like them either

Thanks Bro-Chief, if those Fuchs were 18s I would have bought them instantly!

The common practice for dipping car parts or cars is to dip them in a vat appropriately sized for the item. Since you did the wheels and the rear....thing....I assumed you had a car sized vat, masked off what you didn't want dipped and lifted the car into the vat with a crane hooked to the front tow point.
