        Anyone here know what a stall converter is/was in an automatic transmission?

          Lets you rev up so you can launch higher I think.  But automatics are evil and a thing to be swapped into the scrap pile!

            Not all automatics.....I had a turbo 400 with a manual shift valve body and a torque converter from a Vega and man did that thing shift. Sideways shifting into second at 60. :)

                    I was always taught that in a professional setting, emails should always be sent with even more consideration than verbal interactions.  Written word is like a bullet, once it's sent you don't get it back and there is always a record.

                      I have to contact a vendor for work - and our companies primary contact is "Shadow" - GM is "Stone" - and Sales Manager is "Janey".....

                      .....I'm thinking this "company" provides day jobs for all the Mortal Combat characters....
