Very interesting to look at, I wonder how much BaT sales have influenced the numbers
I find it somewhat surprising that their condition ratings are almost solely based on cosmetics, with the only note related to mechanical condition being "no smoke on startup or weird noises" for a #2 car. I guess they are really only talking about vehicles that would be of interest to a "collector" and not necessarily someone interested in driving enjoyment.

E28s aren't even listed at all? Maybe they're off the bottom of the scale? Sorry, @YoungCR

Yup only the M5's are still listed which is surprising because 535i and 528e sale prices have gone up over the last 5 years with the rise of the M5 prices. FWIW E34 & E39 540i and E39 M5's aren't valued either.

Maybe they added their values to the ones listed for E36 M3's by accident...
