I know there are some other photography gear heads on here, check out what I got at a ghetto pawn store in Appleton

I’m not sure if what I did was morally right, pretty sure they forgot a 1 infront of 349. I didn’t question it, just said I’d take it.

    Does it work?!

I got a 55-200 MM zoom lens for Christmas. Does anyone on here have a zoom lens that they use? I have my kit lens and a 50 MM. I think this zoom would be good for at the track use.

I guess if there is anything else in this price range that would be a better options I can return this one.

I've been wanting to add that lens to my bag. I'm surprised by how often I don't have the range I need. It's great for track usage like you mentioned.

i use my 55-300 at the track and auto-x events with good results. its not a fast lens either, just the standard f3.5-5.6

            GT40 Turn 7

this was taken at Road America, Turn 7, probably about 400 ft away.

55-300 also has its place in landscape, portraits, etc

If you wanna ball hard you could get a IS 70-200 f2.8L. I had one for a while and it takes incredibly sharp photos at f/2.8 (more depth of field wide open and low light performance) and the image stabilization is a huge help when zoomed to 200mm

Im excited to announce my most recent project. As you may know I parted out a 95 m3 this past summer.

I enjoyed it so much I made a website to sell parts off of. I plan on getting a few new parts cars in to sell off of.

In the meantime check out my site!
