My father cut that=) It's Oak son! lol And it took 4 hours and is getting funky on the hood from the heat (I have no heat mat on mine) But it is holding up okay for being a $100 job. lol

Samco Intake boot is on and I put a hose clamp on the ICV hose to keep it from popping off. My idle is better than ever now. Can't wait for the new hose.

I'm looking for a spare intake manifold and valve cover to paint up and replace these ones with. Missing loads of plastic covers and rubber trim and such but those will come=)

Some pictures from the other day when I was working on her.

Lost a fog delete plate on the highway the other day=( very sad. But I can't fit my fogs for now either because I have no brackets. I put some vinyl on the fogs to see what it'd look like but idk if I like it or not. It's maybe too much amber=D

earl, what polishes did you use to get that mirror finish? looks superb. also, hows the Sharkhide holding up? (i just bought a set of style 5s to refinish)

also just looked at sharkhides website, any chance you have some left over from your project? they discontinued the aerosol can and all you can buy is the giant 1 qt can.

I polished with buffing wheels and rouges. Then went with mothers. I used all of my sharkhide up due to messing up the coat a few times on my last wheel. Buy the quart, you'll have enough to do the wheels. I believe it is holding up fine. You just need to make sure that you don't get bubbles. They'll pop over time and leave an unprotected area.

so sharkhide is just like a clear coat after all?

Not really. It is if it gets a bubble, but otherwise it sort of soaks in. Its hard to explain.

Like crap. Since it is on so thin it is slowly wearing away. I need to peel it and paint some panels to be glorious black again.

I only used 14 cans. That's less than a third of what is recommended on dipyourcar.com

3 gallons will go on great and last a long while

At that point I'd rather use a vinyl wrap and have it last 4+ years 😕
