I had such a great time today, thanks so much for everyone who came out to enjoy it! It was my first time at RA and it was like visiting heaven for a little bit.

A few tidbits from the day:

    ....

Great to meet you @wally509, that E21 is just gorgeous and its great to see it being enjoyed!

Hope everyone else enjoyed the day as much as I did

Great to meet everyone as well.  Thanks for being friendly to the new guy (me), who also happens to be the old guy (me).

I wish I could have driven up with you guys, that mishap boils down to me being an idiot.  RTFM, in this case read the f-ing MAP, I went back and looked at it this morning.  Where I pulled over to wait for the last group was already North of the exit from 45, which is why I never saw anybody.

    Later,
    Wally

Definitely was a perfect day for it and a lot of fun.

Unfortunately it made me realize how much I need to force myself to dedicate time for track days again. Especially since we ran in to some of my old track buddies who were on track yesterday. I've clearly been focusing too much on money and not enough on fun. I am now officially looking for a ragmuffin trackrat E46 M3.

Thanks for organizing this, it was great to see people, fast cars, hundreds of missed apexes at Canada Corner, and a muffler flying off of an E30.

I didn't see that active compact there. I wonder if it was a slicktop too=0 The crazy thing is that makes three of us there lol.

This was fun, even if I left with a strong desire to buy another car. Thanks for organizing, Snap!

Great pics Dan! Thanks for putting this on Snap, I vote to make this a new tradition. Or even better a cruise to October fast, the only club event I haven't been to 😉

Also yes that's the 318 that chucked it's muffler off on Canada. It was quite amusing.

This was a great event, the weather was perfect, and I had a blast.

I also have to say thanks to all of you that helped push my FORD powered car back to life. 🙃🤣   (both times)

When I made it back I checked and I have a good battery and good voltage when running, the starter definitely failed.
