I always thought this was stupid and recently found it to be super annoying because im on the hunt for a truck with a hitch. I constantly have to ask if it has a hitch because some dip shit has his finger in the way.

Interestingly enough, I dont go seeking them out. I usually see them in the main thumbnail as im about to go search for bmws that I cant buy. So the fact that so many photos of  blocked plates exist on the surface of craigslist shows how big this epidemic really is.
