bought an M5 clutch & lightweight flywheel and plan to put headers on this winter and the throttle spacer thingy might enhance things as well.

I vaguely remember an e46 guy on bimmerfest that bought some throttle spacers, and essentially it did nothing other than change the sound. His name was something with Mafia in it I believe.
