These cars are retarded expensive to fix, and they are hard to sell even with pristine history's.

It's just a vw, can't be too expensive.

That is worth almost nothing.  If you were to remove it, you'd be lucky to get $20K for it, and then the buyer would still have to figure out tuning.

Like I said, given the right circumstances, it could be good for someone.

        This. ^

But let get back to the junk on Clist..

E90 with a bad VC? I contacted him and it sounds like its just the breather vent barb that broke off. the catch is a loan and repair labor to actually get the car.

I've seen that car evolve from DE to its current incarnation. It's a fast beast. Playing in the NASA GTS-2 class typically involves a car in the mid to upper $20k range. It will be interesting to see where the bidding goes. The NASA guys that are vouching for it in the comments section like Luke and Zach are also solid.

I think I've seen that car, It's sometimes parked by the UPS store/Jimmy Johns on 2nd street. Actually doesn't look that bad, but it needs a tail panel (you can see the tail light is pushed inwards under the trunk lid). Could be a fun/cheap daily or project if it isn't too rusted

Looks like a respray inside and out, along with the full gut. I was seriously considering this for a bit after John let me take it for a test run at the e30 picnic a few years back. Body was in good shape except for the fender surface rust from under the old decal. Clutch stiffness would wear your leg out for a city/traffic DD but it certainly would be a fun track beast. Good to see that's where it ended up!

Wow indeed. I almost bought that car, but couldn't pull the trigger because of the color combo...

I had seen a set of e36 LTW seats for sale recently too, so I guess it all makes sense now.
