Lets hope so! I've never done an ice event before so having awesome conditions for learning would be great

If you walk the course, check if the snow formed ice curbs and avoid them like the Black Plague

I went to the sinissippi event this last weekend. I will say that the event there for a non competitive driver is way better. There was only about 8 studded cars and they have limits on the amount of bolts on tires. So the course doesn't get ruts. It only had about 40 cars so more laps.

There also is a course on the other side of the lake where motorcycles run on Saturday so you can tear that up, and another circle track that the rednecks race on. Fun to watch the carnage while you wait. There was also 7 other bmws there, caged e46 m3 - e30 on studs, one guy let me ride in his studded e46 323i.

              I personally liked this better.

Also you can do a dual driver car they just have a seperate line so you get through in the same time.

I wont be available so you can borrow my helmet if needed.

                Good to know.

I've always gone to the FVSCC events because I know some people up there and they're good peeps. Will have to check out one of the WAG events. Definitely closer to home now that I'm living farther south...

Anyone interested in the Poygan event on the 28th?  Doesn't look like WAG has anything scheduled, at least I didn't see anything. Weather forecast for Tustin on Sunday has a high of 30, hopefully it stays below freezing!

I registered, but not counting on this happening.

High forecast temps between now and then: 41, 48, 45, 30 and lows are just barely under freezing
