I was at the SCCA autocross on Sunday and the same event was going on in the other East half lot. The SCCA folks were running a autox school on Saturday and some of the instructors had gone over to the other lot to help. Best story from this is one SCCA national level competitor is driving and is told by one of the organizers riding along that he shouldn't be revving the car so high in 2nd...he says OK and shifts into 3rd. The response was a panicked no, no, no I meant go slower!!! Gotta love it.

FYI: they have tickets for these events on groupon for $99.

Not anymore..it ended a couple weeks ago. So unless they put it back up before the September repeat [which would be amazing] it'll be $250
