I want to cry for the guy who has worked on that and has to sell it now.

Yea I'm sure it will go for more than I was looking to spend.
I found my turd with manual swap parts yesterday anyways. I would feel bad sending that M to the vultures.

That sucks to sell that e30! There is no way he's recouping nearly what he has put into it and I can't imagine how much time has gone into that!

Looks like BMW didn't issue that faulty HVAC wiring recall in time...

^ What is the point of buying that thing?
Doesn't look to be a single thing that isn't toast (pun intended) -
Yard art? @Jdesign next post apocalyptic project? It's already patina'd!

For $7500 this seems like a good price

Sadly it looks like everything is a complete loss on that one. The best thing you could do would be to build a tube chassis and just use the body panels, or reskin a car that hasn't been consumed by fire.

Awesome car. Those suitcase handles on the door panels are atrocious tho!

I agree, they could have at least gotten a nice looking strap. But... racecar.

Bit of an oddball find.

I really dig the color combo. Whole car looks a little rough around the edges though.

I've got irrational desire to someday own a long wheelbase 7 series. The fact that there's a couple pretty decent ones on CL right now isn't helping.

Decent deal on an '02. No real interior, but it'd be cool for bombing around on backroads in.

Nothing irrational about wanting a 7er. Fantastic cars. I had an e32 way back when. That thing hauled ass and you never even knew it, so smooth. Sold it due to the transmission being on its way to it's death bed. They are dirt cheap, but expensive to fix and most people don't maintain them very well. Most of them at one time or another were owned by a rapper wanna be or something of the sorts.
I'll own one again done the road.
