Hello all! My name is Hayden, or basedspider, and I was showed this forum by Rekpoint. I am currently selling my 1998 318ti so I can afford my newest addition, which is a 100k mile 1994 325i. Got it for a steal over in MN, and I definitely have some things in store for it. Thanks!

Both cars look to be in really great shape! Is the 1994 an M50TU or M50NV?

Between european models getting some things a year or two sooner than US models and things happening mid-year, I always have to play it safe and pick a late 94 when I shop for parts. Never knew exactly when the TU started and the NV ended

I just checked and my coupe is a 3/93 and has Vanos, my other car is a 02/94 sedan which also has Vanos.  Late 94 is a good choice though because there are some weird things on early models, like my 02/94 sedan has an 8mm shorter selector rod so after buying the UUC DSSR it was too long and I had to cut a little out and weld it back together.  They offered to do it for me but I had access to a TIG welder at work so I didn't want to wait.
