!!!!!  That is EXACTLY what my boss says.  Any mention of a wagon and she wrinkles up her face and says she always thinks of a wagon with wood panel sides and hates them.  big bummer.

I blame the american companys for wood paneling and the now, very large, lack of taste towards wagons. I think its very well the same reason soccer moms now drive gas guzzling SUV's with no intentions of taking them off road besides driving over you and your car when they are too busy on their cell phones or yelling at the kids in the back seat. * sorry end of rant*

It's very possible.  I'm just glad there are SUV's so I don't have to own a minivan.

I prefer sedans to coupes and prefer wagons/tourings to sedans haha. She would just rather have a mk4 jetta wagon and an e30 touring instead of her jetta and e30 now lol

Don't understand the whole SUV thing. it's not SPORT, has marginal UTILITY, but it's a VEHICLE. So must be great.

Like an all season tire, sucks in all seasons,  So does the SUV.

I've bucked the trend for a decade, when I bought a Sedan and a full size van for the price of an SUV.  it's hard not to keep up with the Joneses.

If you need room to haul the family all their stuff, the mother in law, and a 10,000lb trailer you get one of these UUV's (Ultimate Utility Vehicles)

                          IMG20160905152012.jpg

it's not a daily. Maneuvering the bus in a Woodman's lot on a weekend is a nightmare.  But, a trip across country in it is priceless.

*and it fits in the garage!!!

I grew up riding in a high top conversion van for family trips, boating and the sorts. I agree with Rob above!

Same. Finally took the Suburban up to the boundary waters. Comfortably fit 6 people and a dog along with our gear and got 15mpg running 75mph up there too.
