What's not to like about a Lotus? ...other than the fact that the midwest hardly has any decent roads to drive it on 😕

I bought it from a guy in Buffalo NY and drove it back last Sunday......it really lets you know what roads are bad.

Sweet action!  Be thankful for the roads you have in Wisconsin.  I miss the roads around Platteville, here in north IA/ south MN it is nothing but cornfields and straight roads, and still full of potholes of course.

I'd still take the raptor :D

The Elise is a neat car, they destroy in autox with Hoosiers. They basically never leave first gear haha

What's not to love about an Elise and a Raptor?  The Elise looks fun.  I'd recommend reading an excerpt from Doug Demuro's book Plays With Cars about his adventure driving his Elise across country immediately after purchasing it.  I'm sure there are quite a few things you can relate to after your journey.

My bad, didn't look close enough.

But can confirm would still drive the raptor. Nothing against the lotus, as they are crap tons of fun.

I have just always wanted a raptor, for reasons

I'd like to but sadly, my desire to track this car will most likely have the same result as my desire to track my R1.  I'll never get to do it.  Maybe in 10 years when the kids are out of the house.

Wonder how that would compare against a ti swap car on the track.

Good question. It all depends on what they used for a rear sub frame on the mini. I know an S50b32 compact is definitely a force to be reckoned with haha

Intradusting. I bet the mini wins with having a smaller wheel base and being a touch lighter than a compact.

                                      Mini:

                                      1,210 kg (2,668 lb) (Cooper S)

                                      Compact:

Visiting family in Wausau this weekend, made a Menard's run and apparently didn't get the Volvo in gear properly when I parked and it rolled into a Saturn. Awesome, the only downside of a manual transmission... it broke the glass headlight lens and scuffed the bumper cover on mine and scuffed the plastic door on the Vue. I barely had 5 minutes in the store by the time an officer came and did a report. Question for people that have had a situation like this. I have a 500$ deductible, so if the damage is assessed at 2k, do I just get 1500$ and can fix it myself? I do not have a loan.
