E30 Cluster

So in my adventure to find a new cluster to replace the one in my e30 i went and got one today. As i look at it now i notice that it is missing the green plug assembly on the back. Am i able to remove it from my old cluster and put it the one i just picked up?

I have a spare cluster sitting on the shelf that I will check.
I'm inclined to think that you cannot, but I may be wrong.I assume you are looking to pick up VSS for another purpose?

Im assuming VSS is standing for vehicle speed sensor? I just know the one in my car has something plugged into it and figured i need it for something. PS. This is for a normal car not the racecar

Ah, well that changes things.
It is likely linked to your cruise control if you have it. -
