No pictures, but now for the third time in the last week, I have witnessed a faded Imola red BMW 2002 driving around Sun Prairie. Today I saw him again but was too slow to pull out my phone. He waved as I drove past in my W124 in the middle of this mornings blizzard. I bet we both were thinking; "look at this idiot driving that classic junk through the snow." LOL.

Imola? this guy has a shop over by woodmans. If you stop to talk to him he'll chew your ear for a couple hours. Seems like an alright guy though. He's got 3 2002s, half a dozen old harleys and BMW motorcycles, probably a bunch of other stuff...

YES!!!! thats the guy, and I know where his storage unit/ shop is. Never had the time to go shoot the shit with him though.

however, i got to drive the e30 to work the last two days, so its a win/loss.

the clutch master was the issue this fall, not the slave.

when I swapped the transmission in 2015, yes.

so both clutch cylinders have failed in about 20k miles.

Yes sir! All I saw was a moving e30 and that was all I needed to feel warm and fuzzy inside

Im pretty sure that is a bavaria.  I dont think anything older would have the Hoffmesiter kink in the rear 1/4 glass.
