Anyone else feel spring approaching rather quickly? Applying sealant to my new wheels for my X3. Hopefully this helps to keep them looking nice. Can't wait to get these and the H&R springs on.

I'm trying out Chemical Guys Jets Seal. It's supposed to work pretty well. Application was super easy with a foam applicator, only took about 15 minutes to do the whole set. I'll polish it off by hand in the morning. I'm sure I won't ever let them get too dirty but this style of wheel is a pain in the ass to clean so anything will help.

I cant imagine how firm an x3 would ride with aftermarket springs 🤜🏼[emoji1348]

But im sure it would out-corner an E30 or two

Hopefully not any worse than it already does with the m tech suspension. 19's aren't going to help, that's for sure.

Parts store didn't have a cup the right size to pull my rear wheel bearing, so I made my own. Also learned that you can cut really close to a shoulder with an angle grinder if you cut a helix around the part.

Done that before for e36 rear bearings, for the outer race.  But I have a scar on the back of my hand from when a bearing chunk got me through a glove.  Next time I will try a trick I watched someone do which was to weld on the outer bearing and it shrinks and just falls out.  Seemed weird but I watched it and it seemed to work.

I got Michelin PSS for my 135i and Nankang NS-20 for the 328i.

Loved the Pilot Super Sports last year so I got them again. I've had these Nankangs before and they have good reviews. Nice cheap tire for my daily.

Thats awesome! Whats that weird cover looking thing over the front brake rotor?

My wild guess is a brake cooling duct? you can see some red ducting running from the bumper to that area behind the rotor
