who the hell posts a quarter of a million dollar car on craigslist with a typical crappy ad?

No price in this case probably means if you have to ask you can't afford it.
That's what I said! He's pretty much selling a Ferrari on Craigslist.

I have a feeling that ad is a fake. There's a lot that smells fishy about it.

Who is this? Are you on here? reveal yourself!
If they REALLY wanted an M3 they could have had a very rust free one by now by searching outside the region. The fact that they keep posting this makes me think they would only offer $2500 + a stock intercooler from a 1.8t and a Jabari Parker rookie card. They could have obtained a non-corroded M3 from outside the region by now if they were serious about it.

yeah, seems like a fishing ad - which doesn't really work anymore. with the internet people are too aware of the actual value of things. maybe 10-15 years ago you could find someone with an e30/30 m3 who didn't really know it was worth $$$$, but not anymore.

Is that considered a good deal?

I defer to the e36M3 experts. Depends I guess on how well it was taken care of. Extensive maintenance and enthusiast owner(s) on a 200k car versus multiple owners, with a fair share of hooners, and beat up at 200k. Not enough detail in the ad to suggest the former.
