lexus motor in a bmw what is happening

pretty much this. It's a highly unfortunate circumstance of "the car scene'. Travel for a couple bigger car shows is one thing, but this is why I typically only frequent Cars and Coffee in Lake Mills - it's an excuse to force myself to take time out to meet up with friends particularly in the BMW community who I don't otherwise get a chance to see because running 2 businesses and having kids takes a lot of time. It's also why I gave up on major car build projects - the time I do have to devote to cars is time I want to just spend with like-minded enthusiasts. I can't see myself going around to other random gatherings with chumps who don't know any better, or much at all about cars for that matter.
I've heard nothing but bad things about all the other local "car shows" or "cars and coffee" meetups where it's literally just a bunch of Built not Bought kids who think building something means slapping WCEC stickers on when they get a set of $300 coilovers with cut springs and spray painted wheels.
Just saw this and wanted to say this is why I look forward to more meets with you guys. You were by far the friendliest group I met up with last year, the WI car scene needs more of that.
On another note, this came up on my phone today. Are they really going for this much now?

For a CSL, yes. That's a really rare limited region release car. The only e46 that would fetch more would be a GTR.

aside from the automatic part it seems like a fair deal, someone in milwaukee do me a favor and go rip the fucking m3 badge off of it at least

That's a gorgeous e34! Not a $16k car.
-

That seams really fair.
Sweet, but at that price they might as well not even listed it.

I don't understand people that put cars up for $16k and put a sentence or two about the car.
Unless you have 20 pictures (which at that price you should) you need words to validate the price. -

I know the car. It is Father Hundleys downstair neighbor. Not a terrible car besides the fender rot
-
"Father Hundley's downstairs neighbor"
Oh, the imagery
