Saw that 318is as well and was wondering if it was anyone on here. Looks to be in good shape especially the interior and a good price for 138k in mileage. Aside from brakes wonder what other mechanicals are at issue (timing chain, guides, etc). KaiserRolls, if you don't care for red don't worry it'll fade.... oh wait

Found a super clean 318is for a really good price! Ran the VIN and while it isn't a slicktop it has an LSD and a really nice cloth interior!

if it was Brilliantrot i would consider buying it to finish replacing body panels on my car and then part out the rest

        Damnation.

It is brilliantrot, you can see the label on the shock tower in the picture of the engine bay. But I'd be really sad if you parted it out.

Buuuuut if you do....I got first dibs on the front and rear seats and door cards.

I did the same reach out last night with the same results. No reply.

I was curious about maintenance status of the m42 mechanicals such profile gasket, timing chain system, oil leaks, reasons why the radiator/thermostat were replaced (leaks, overheating), vacuum hoses, etc.

There's a reason for that, if you take care of them they never degrade to shitbox status. I can't say my E55 AMG was a clear upgrade honestly.

There's a reason for that, if you take care of them they never degrade to shitbox status. I can't say my E55 AMG was a clear upgrade honestly.

What's your thoughts on a e55 amg? Have been eyeing them up lately. Problems? Rust issues? Etc.
