6cyl ti must be awesome on track. The liveliness of an e30 rear susp. with the great engine placement of the e36 front end

John Morgan's s52 swapped ti would be, and probably is, a track beast....I seriously considered that one for a bit after taking it for a drive at the e30 picnic. Managed to resist the temptation. Sorry John!

This guy's m50 swap is a junior version. Would possibly get you into less trouble on the street, though. That said, in addition to the one track video in the FS listing (where he's running Gingerman in what looks the reverse direction...must have been a fascinating track day), there's a video floating around I found of the seller hooning about in an industrial parking lot.

Or just pick up a Z3 or Z3M. Same shit, different pile as a ti. Just doesn't look as dumb (IMO). I may be biased owning a Z3M, but it is a blast!

Meanwhile, someone go lowball this guy and buy his swapped ti so I stop thinking about it:

I've been tempted by this one too, especially because it's white and appears to be a slicktop. Still, a $1500-2000 car with a $500 motor in it ain't really worth 4 grand...

Because compacts handle so well compared to e30's and normal e36's due to being a mash-up of the suspensions. You need to drive one and see haha

To me that still sounds like a great deal but I have no sense of what cars like that are worth

based on all the searching i did for e30s, that is a STEAL price right now. 2-3k under what most are asking for similar cars.

If there weren't multiple people in my life who would just about chop off my head for buying another car, I'd already be contacting the seller haha. I just hope whoever buys it doesnt buy it to swap and beat the crap out of it

Saw that 318is as well and was wondering if it was anyone on here. Looks to be in good shape especially the interior and a good price for 138k in mileage. Aside from brakes wonder what other mechanicals are at issue (timing chain, guides, etc). KaiserRolls, if you don't care for red don't worry it'll fade.... oh wait

It is brilliantrot, you can see the label on the shock tower in the picture of the engine bay. But I'd be really sad if you parted it out.
