Shots fired!
To the defense of the ugly van: it made it to Cocoa Beach Florida and back running nearly 22 consecutive hours each stint. It was a hell of a sight, that rusty mediocre vehicle on a beach in Florida.
I promise I will arrive in some sort of bmw this year

My brother and I picked it up off of craigslist in West Bend. It's a 79 320i sepia brown over tan vinyl interior. We don't have many plans for it other than to fix a few things, almost certainly lower it, and just enjoy driving it. Driving this thing is the hardest I've laughed in a while--it's just so enjoyable and care-free. A huge contrast to my 242.ย

Was it a sort of "barn find" ? I have never seen this car and I live in West Bend lol
We picked it up at Fleet Farm... so kind of? Sounds like it was kept somewhere between West Bend and Kewaskum, and not driven much in recentย years.

some may remember the meet i hosted in bay view a few years ago- it was the 2nd weekend of may, and it was 40 and windy and crap weather.

Where is the park and ride? I'd be coming down from Appleton. So if it's north of the meet location, I could join. But if it's south of the picnic, it's out of the way.
