The dude that used to have its name is Matt Hayes. I seen it a few times as well. It had a rad-fab sticker on it so I asked tanner.

Got the coilovers installed today. Only took around 3and half hours, including a tool run. Whole process went incredibly smooth given that I have not removed any of the suspension components since owning the car. Biggest mishap was probably myself dropping a stock lug down the drain, but since I was installing the spacers I had the extended lugs to run anyway. Drop is pretty mild, but it removes the wheel gap which was my biggest gripe about the car. Have room to go down lower so I'll probably adjust the height next weekend to a little lower, maybe like half an inch? The spacers filled out the wheel perfectly but 45 profile tires with the spacers would be close going too much lower. I am really happy with the ride quality of the FK's, it is a definite upgrade from my old sport suspension. The M3 bumper really helps out the front end appearance. Thoughts on taking off the carbon fiber splitters? I really like them, but I feel they may be out of place on my car. I can't thank Ben enough for helping me out today.

Took the E30 for a good rip to Sears, I love this car. The M52 is a great engine in that chassis.

I only just realized this was Ben with a new username [emoji51]

The M52 is the 24v that makes the most sense to me and has always been my intended swap if I ever went 24v. Glad its working out well thus far

Lol SteelBlue and GunMetalGrey. You boys sure do like your metal colors.

I can't believe you had to make a parts run from Ben's shop. He has like every tool known to man in there.

The car looks great. The front looks awesome, but I think you need side skirts of some sort now. The rest of the car isn't as aggressive as the front. The Schnitzers look good.

This was my feeling regarding the front. I think I might take the splitters off and see how it looks.

I was also surprised we had to make a parts run. However, it was a conversion extension that he had one of, but it was broken.

Here are some side profile shots to get a better view of how the car sits.

I was taking pictures with my T3i last night but forgot that my new computer does not have an SD card reader on it...So I will get those up shortly.

                    For now, iPhone pictures:

That is nowhere near true! There is always room for more!

Looks good, Those AC's look mint on there.

Haven't really done much with the car besides drive it. Was able to car pool with a co worker who has a newer car that doesn't mind driving everyday as long I throw a little gas money, which is nice. Went to do the passenger front wheel bearing this weekend, needed a 46mm socket, found out no one sells them locally and had to buy it in a set at Harbor Freight. Was 1 inch drive impact socket set, so I needed and adapter set, plus a breaker bar (that was 3/4 inch. $124 later I was ready to go, until I found out that the socket side wall was too thick to fit in the hub...So I over nighted one on amazon for $10. Just returned all the stuff after I was done. The race gave me a little fight, but relatively easy process other wise.

Cleaned the wiper relay which fixed my intermittent wiper issue.

Did a lock rebuild kind of correct, it locks but I must have put one of the pieces in backwards as the key doesn't lock it still. I'll figure it out later.

Was gonna do the oil as I am 3,000 miles over the suggested mileage, got too lazy, I'll do it later.

Was at my buddy's house last night and he had these 3 piece reps still after he sold the car that they were on. Figured why not throw them on and see what they look like on the car. I wish I hadn't sold my LM reps. I'm not a fan of the style of these wheels and the amount of stretch are on these, but the lips look really good, would need to come down lower to fit right.

Would need camber to fit right too haha. 17's are usually small on an e46 unless you're crazy super low (even then they look a hair small). 18's seem like the way to go 😃

Yeah, would definitely need a roll and pull to fit the rears. 10.5" is just a little wide. The LM reps were 9.5" and they fit perfectly.

I've seen some pretty wide wheels fit under almost stock fendered e46's=)

Were those wheels on a s52 swapped compact by chance?
