Slowly making good progress... EVERYTHING under the intake mani was filthy.

Don't really have a reason to?!?  At this point it's clean, replace, Powdercoat/plate, reassemble - and get it running!!!

I didn't know how intense you got with the cleaning!

I'll have that bay looking pretty without pulling the engine.

Snap knocked out some powdercoating on the quick - so had to test fit.  Can't wait to get everything back from zinc coating and start reassembling.  Still need to de-bracket the PS of the bay - and clean.

Yup!  Original intake mani support castings will be shaved - and breather shaved/relocated for AN line.  Other things are just taking precedent first.

Almost ready to test fit all the linkage - decide what colors to paint/coat all the linkage parts - disassemble - paint/coat - then reassemble....

Almost to the point of not caring - and just assembling so I can finally hear the damn thing run!!!

Almost a month since I ordered my Nuke fuel rail - still no leadtime from Bimmerheads.  I'm assuming they get a shipment of parts monthly - but come on already!!!

Bad idea,  we dont need any Summit vs JEGS rivalries around here. 

Instead of grinding the manifold mount on the valve cover, could you make a bracket mounting plate for something that goes there and looks clean?

If a mount is needed there I could, but there really won't be anything there to mount...  Also - I plan to shave the breather hose and relocate with an AN fitting to clean up the hose routing.

So if I'm gonna go through the trouble - I might as well shave the unnecessary stuff.
