Megasquirt is "not legal for use on road vehicles" which is the real reason I haven't driven my car in over a year.
Salt Lake has an anti-idling law for the sake of reducing air pollution (currently the worst in the country) http://aqicn.org/map/usa/#@g/40.7303/-108.0264/4z where if you are caught idling for longer than 2 minutes (say, waiting to pick someone up) you can be fined. It has also caused some folks to be douchey to eachother and calling eachother out for "excessive idling"
It is more probable in my opinion that stupid laws like that will happen before extra/more thorough inspections or other things that may cause car guys some worry.

Fixed it

your right, it probably will lead to nothing. even if they required all race cars to have emissions equipment, it really wouldn't matter. but the EPA can still suck it.

You could hear that something was vibrating before the driveshaft blew, which should have been a sign that something was wrong.

80A or 95A for e30 poly bushings. Goal is daily driver with occasional weekend autocrossing hoonage. Madison has decent enough roads too.
do you think you'll really gain any time with poly bushings for occasional autocross hoonage? rubber, motherflubber (or the softest poly possible)

I went with the hardest poly because I knew Dan would post to go with the softest poly in the future
