There are so many reasons the m car is better. I happen to own one, so I think I'd have some idea. I have driven countless standard Z3s as well. Just touching the surface, you get better engine, LSD, some of the best seats BMW has offered, leather trimmed dash and door panels, bumpers, mirrors, brakes, wheels, suspension, and on and on. Not bad for only a few grand more. Not to mention, the car doesn't even feel similar(and not nearly as girly lol). Parts are cheap since most of it is all e36 m3 stuff. I must add, out of the nearly 80 cars I've they owned, it has to be the funnest.

While I still enjoy a 3.0 Z3, TJ is right I that the premium for the Z3M isn't that much more money for many gains. 1.8 Z3's are awful haha.

Personally not a fan of early Z4 interior although again Z4M's I can deal with that. Late model Z4 Sdrive35i's are a blast.

You couldn't pay me to drive a base trim Z3. Complete shitbox. That's all I can contribute to this discussion. Facts are facts.

I would love to buy that and try my hand at some body work. Too many projects not enough time/room.

Ran a carfax, sold new in Burlington, WI in 93. Stayed in WI until 2002, then moved to IL up until now.

If someone buys this, I'll buy the headlights and front pumper from it.

Or swap my halogen headlights plus cash.

If it is unlocked, couldn't you switch the ews, ignition cylinder, and locks from another car?

Or have a locksmith make new keys for it if all the locks and ignition work fine.

Or just buy the key from BMW...but if you want to try the hard way lol. Also, if it were locked, they wouldn't know the mileage.

i was gonna say, you can use the VIN for new BMW keys. but BMW won't give you a key until you own it, so you'll have to winch the thing onto a flatbed some how since its probably in gear/park brake on.
