I was going to put gauges there, but I already decided that I'm going to use a digital display for my cluster so I won't need most of my gauges. I mainly put my resivoirs there, because they don't fit right on the masters and to keep an eye on it if it gets too hot and the fact that I won't have to go under the dash to fill the resivoirs. I don't want to cut the dash like in the pictures because I don't want to completely destroy my dash and I'm unsure about how much space I have in the bay yet. I might make a change in the future, but all I can do is see.

It's a race car, purely functional so i don't see what all the fuss is about haha.

Everyone knows that real race cars need that exact spot for mounting things like gauges that monitor super important stuff like CV grease temperature and GoPro battery life. Trust me, I'm basically an expert because I saw a spec e30 car on a trailer going the other way on a freeway one time.

You still have to fish yourself under there to check to see if everything is full and you're still reaching under the dash to get the hose into the res. Why deal with that when everything is out in the open. That's how I look at it.

Are fluid reservoir levels really that volatile?

Edit - do you have the in cabin brake bias adjuster?

So last night I ran some steel braided lines to a bulkhead for my brakes and clutch line.

Today I finally got my cage for the e30. I'll be prepping the cab and trying to fit everything in hopefully in the next few weeks.

Molitor, I'm leaning towards get your car running and driving first, then worry about the cage.
