Martin Brundle once said that the 190e had one of the best chassis ever fitted to a four-door saloon.

ha nice. It went out when I left home, i thought, no problem, got a little box of bulbs in the car, but nooo the tail light bulb use this weird small bulb which is different than the reverse lights and brake lights.

well this tail light thing just took a turn for the worse. i was trying to be nice and let my wife 'fix' the bulb on our way to the grocery store, well, she dropped the whole plug and bulb down into a the body cavity under the lights.........  and its rattling about in there because i was unable to fish it out after removing the entire tail light. so i had to order a new one, which is a touring only part for some who-the-hell-knows reason, and was $25 freakin dollars for a new one.

FYI there is a e34 touring in the yard near me. Front end is smashed and interior is ripped apart but tailgate seems to be complete at this point.
