So the 5 door isn't subject to different safety standards? Why wouldn't there be M135i imports then?

not one, but TWO e21s in Phoenix orange! Only availible in 1977 in the USA and relatively rare.

            One with Centra wheels:

            http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/cto/5319497403.html

And the other is a slicktop:

            http://saginaw.craigslist.org/cto/5305516961.html

time to buy a lotto ticket...

Edit: actually, the wheels look like 13", so they're probably knockoffs of Centras, but whatever...

that's a beautiful car that almost never comes up for sale. in a dream world I'd drive an e30 m3 on the weekends and an e34 m5 touring to work everyday.

i bet it will sell for $30k

that's crazy person money, like rich dude who will put it in his car museum.

however, i just looked up 50k sedans/wagons available currently, and the e34 m5 is still better than any of those choices.

Used E class AMG wagon is in that $50k range... I may take that over an e34 m5 wagon. It'd be close.

It's probably one of the only cars I would leave alone when it comes to aesthetics since it is pretty much perfect as it=) That'd help justify a small amount of the price tag lol

Anyone here pick up that 1996 5sp 318ti in Glendale posted on CL yesterday? Two owner, mileage in the low 140s, and $1250 asking price which is pretty cheap if the car was in good shape. I contacted the seller this morning and it was sold yesterday.

                                        1990 325i racecar (ITS, former Spec E30); 2004 330i ZHP
