The amount of dapper haircuts, greasy beards, patterned bro tanks and low top vans were pretty impressive

The thing that I dont like about DIV is that it is getting "boring". No more blow up car, trike races, or other activity shenanigans. I didn't really see many new cars that impressed me that differed from last year either=/ It was nice to see that the show is growing but all of the things that made it "fun" are gone.

I really wanted to go, but had a company outing with my wife.  A friend showed his black beetle and won top five.

I think I saw him in the Farm and Fleet parking lot in Janesville on Saturday with the beetle on it's trailer and they were looking over the trailer lights.

And I just found out that one of the women I work with, her husband and son built that Beetle for your friend.  She's been telling me about this beetle and showing me pictures as they've progressed.  That's a sharp car!

Yup, that's the guy.  It's still not done and the builders have been taking years over projected but they are VERY good.  The owner is a designer so he's had his fingers in every little part.  I actually designed a guage pod for it (which wasn't installed yet lol).

                            He's been really excited.

Yeah, he was parked over on the other side by me. Super clean, beautiful car.

Was a good show. Lots of cars. There was another black 135i that was on bags... that was interesting. However, I do agree with Earl, last year was a lot more fun.
