I am danny and I got my e30 about a year ago. 

I made it look not that bad but i want to go fast(ish) now so i am planning to swap some sort of m50/m52 into it.

How do you really feel?

Hopefully this doesn't turn into a thread-jack, but judging from the fact that it's a 'vert and is way-low, I'm guessing performance is not the primary goal. So why not M50? 10% more power, has better gas mileage and (pulling numbers out of my ass...) it's only 72% more expensive and requires 107% more effort.

I like the M50, I really do (dont read too far into that statement)

But cursing the m20 and dropping in an m50 like r3v guys do is straight up adultery.

Since that PSA came out about Snap and his m20 dealing, I've seen an oportunity to wedge my way into the illicit trade. Currently I'm operating at a loss, but once I get a foothold in the supply chain I should be able to capitalize.
